        Kundera police station informed Civil Defence Control Room that on the late evening of 16 April 2026, at around 7:30 PM, A young man who had gone to bathe in the river flowing near Kirapura village slipped and drowned in the river.

        As per instructions, the team reached the incident site the next day at 7:30 AM and started the rescue operation. After 38 hours of hard effort, the body of the man was found about 400 meters away from the incident site, stuck near the railway bridge.

        The team handed over the body to the police. The deceased was identified as Ramdayal Adivasi (43), son of Babulal Adivasi, resident of Bargama, District Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh.

        In this rescue operation, under the leadership of team in-charge Sumit Singh, Civil Defence volunteers Istak Khan, Wasim Khan, Shadab Ahmed, Ghamandi Meena, Jitendra Gurjar, Bolta Ram Meena, Deshraj Prajapat, and Avdhesh Kumar Jangid played an important role.
